FARE Kitchen & Café
Something extraordinary is happening in 2026!
The FARE Kitchen & Cafe on Cerrillos Road will become a dynamic community hub where young people gain hands-on experience in the culinary arts, hospitality, and food service industries.
Our vision for FARE is simple yet transformative:
- Food
- Action
- Results
- Equity
Through professional job training and mentorship, YouthWorks participants will not only learn how to prepare and serve delicious, high-quality meals but also develop essential life and leadership skills that open doors to lasting employment and personal growth. At the same time, the FARE Kitchen will serve as the heart of YouthWorks’ community food programs, preparing thousands of nutritious meals every week for community members in need across Santa Fe and northern New Mexico.
By blending workforce development with community nourishment, the FARE Café & Kitchen will stand as a symbol of empowerment, resilience, and hope—where every plate served represents a step toward equity and opportunity.
Together, these values drive our mission to build a stronger, more connected, and more compassionate community—one meal, one young person, and one future at a time.
